Zoya PixieDust

After the Halloween mess up Ive gone for something decidedly better!

After trying Zoya for the first time a while back, I just had to give PixieDust a try!

And wowzers! I think it is now my all time fave!
Its so glittery and applies sooo well. The only thing about it that I am not a fan of is drying time.
I usually use a fast drying topcoat but if you do that you would loose the textured effect.

This is Liberty, 2 coats. The accompanying polish is Robyn also by Zoya.

I also love the Zoya bottle shape.
I don't know why really but it is my fave shape of all my bottles.

The texture of this polish is not the most bumpy I have tried so if you are new to textured polish this would be a fantastic one to start with.

This sparkles like a dream. I cant stop looking at it!!

I want this is every shade around, but I have decided to go on a no buy for a bit. Christmas is coming and all!

What do you think about textured polish? Have you tried PixieDust?

Halloween Nail Art Fail

Of all days to be having an off day it had to be Halloween!

I have been planning in my head loads of different designs all week but I just haven't had time to do them :(

So this is what I ended up doing......

It doesn't really help that the photos are crud. I think today is just one of those days!

BTW that's supposed to be a witches hat on my index finger LOL

I will spend today looking at all the other beautiful manis and hanging my head in shame :(

Red Heart Nail Art

A couple weeks ago I was rooting through my stash looking for a red, a proper red. A pillar box red, if you will.

And to my shock and horror I didn't have one!! So the next day we were out shopping and my husband went off on his own to the bank, only when i saw him later he suprised me with THE perfect red! What a babe!

So today I have some lovely valentines day type nails (in oct) lol.

This is Max Factor Glossfinity Red Passion 110

The polish is pretty much opaque with two coats but you can still see my smile line on some nails. This is a tad less noticeable in real life.
Applies well although I did fine it a tad thin but the coverage isn't affected and I actually prefer a polish to be thinner as long as it builds up well.
I used a stamping plate by Cheeky to do this mani.

Breast Cancer Awareness Week Day 4

Today we have something a bit blingy!

I have used studs and two different sizes of pearls both purchased from +BornPretty BPS

I used Essie Cascade Cool and BarryM Gelly Grapefruit.
All topped off with Color Club topcoat.
Again my pics are not great. I really need some help lol

I used a Fan brush to make this design and set the pearls and studs in the topcoat.

What do you think of today's design? I love a bit of bling!

Please spare a moment to look at the other girlies work tonight...

So for this reason I decided to add a touch of blue to this mani.

I first saw this type of mani done by the Nailasaurus. You can find it HERE.

Breast Cancer Awareness Week Day 2

Day 2 of the mini challenge!

I used Essie Lights and Sick Lacquers Pastel Fusion

The Diamantes are from Moyou.

I am litrslly about to go insane at my camera..... One day the pics are fine and dandy but then they are poo.
I think the main reason is the lighting. I live in a flat an get NO light in here! Well I do get some its not a cave after all.
When the lighting is low I end up with blurry pics too. NO GOOD!!

I used to use a daylight bulb but its too bright! I think I will sit down later and try to sort it.

I really like this glitter. Its not all in your face and blingy glitter but it adds so much to the mani!

What do you think?
Please also check out the other british bloggers taking part in this pink mani for breast cancer awareness week!!
